The Jimmy John's bosses are at it again. Despite previous warnings they continue to retaliate against our members for wanting dignity, respect, and more of the good things of life on the job.

Danny Dolch and Mike Gillett are attacking our members through retaliatory scheduling and through the firing of one of our members, fellow worker James Hegler.

James is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and served a tour of duty in Iraq. Like many veterans, he was given no safety net after leaving the military. As such, he has suffered economic hardship ever since, which has directly benefited Jimmy Johns in their efforts to perpetually increase their profits.

Jimmy Johns and its founder, Jimmy John Liautaud, claim to support military veterans. What about the military veterans, like James, employed at their stores? Jimmy Johns wants to wave an American flag in one hand, and fire veterans fighting for a better life with the other hand.

Let's not be fooled by Jimmy Johns' flag-waiving. Instead, let us stand up for Jimmy Johns workers in their fight against employer retaliation and for the IWW Jimmy Johns Workers Union. We'll see you on the picket line fellow workers! An Injury to One is an Injury to All!
